September 11 -- Call off the search party although she was reported missing by her handlers last week, TLC's Lisa "Left Eye" Lopes has allegedly been spotted alive and (presumably) well in New Orleans.

According to Britain's NME and television's Inside Edition, a camera crew caught sight of Lopes exiting a New Orleans hotel with boyfriend Sean Newman, after she reportedly went MIA on the evening of Thursday, Aug. 31.

An item published in the New York Post on Thursday, Sept. 7, reported that the most notorious member of the top-selling female R&B trio failed to show up at a family gathering over Labor Day weekend. She also missed a press conference in Las Vegas on Tuesday, Sept. 5, to promote the Music of Black Origin Awards show in London next month.

The Post added that Lopes' friend and business colleague Ian Burke visited her at her Atlanta apartment on Thursday, Aug. 31, and she "seemed fine." But after that, nobody was in contact with her. In the pages of the Post, her publicist, Matt Shelton, pleaded with the singer to call if she read his message, adding, "We're very worried about you."

But by Friday, Shelton was singing a different tune. He told the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, "I'm not worried. Since she was last seen with Sean, I'm sure the pair of them are somewhere safe and will turn up or make a grand appearance soon as only Sean and Lisa can."

Burke also seemed decidedly less worried on Friday. "She takes these little 'sabbaticals' all the time," he told the Journal-Constitution. "It's just that most of the time, no one does a story about it."

Lopes is still scheduled to co-host the MOBO Awards alongside British DJ Trevor Nelson at the Alexandra Palace in London on Oct. 4.
