Aug. 26 -- Attention, anxious teens: Trying to decide what to wear on the first day of school? Wondering how to let that special someone in math class know youre interested? Relax, help is on the way from your heroine: Britney Spears.

The chart-topping singer is trying out her own version of Dear Abby. She is taking the reins as agony aunt in a BBC Online advice column this month.

The Web site is inviting fans to e-mail questions on school and relationships so Spears will offer her two cents worth.

Most teenage girls would probably agree this is a especially good source for dating tips. Consider, after all, that the pop starlet is rumored to have been courted by none other than N Sync heartthrob Justin Timberlake.

Spears is also qualified to commiserate with the lovelorn. Jut listen closely to lyrics from her breakthrough song, Baby One More time, in which the newly buxom blonde croons, My loneliness is killing me.

More Than Just a Pretty Face

Fans writing in might also consider asking for some career advice. Those above the age of 20 should not be too quick to dismiss Spears as a potential job counselor: Her album Oops I Did It Again has been resting in the No. 2 spot on the Billboard album charts for five straight weeks.

Add to that her four MTV music video award nominations, including Best Female Video for Oops I Did It Again, and its clear shes quite a savvy businesswoman.

Those interested better start writing soon. E-mails will be accepted through Sept. 8, when Spears is expected to begin the arduous task of composing all the responses.

And she may have to do that job in her spare time, as her American tour continues through Sept. 18. Itll be, followed by a European tour.
