Taylor Swift releases new single 'Look What You Made Me Do'

A preview of her new music video will appear on "Good Morning America" Friday.

The singer released late Thursday night her new song "Look What You Made Me Do," the first single from her upcoming, 6th studio album "Reputation." (Read the song's lyrics below.)

Swift, 27, co-wrote the song with her friend Jack Antonoff, who also collaborated with her on her previous album "1989." Together, the two wrote the songs "Out of the Woods," "You Are in Love" and a bonus track, "I Wish You Would."

Swift has been teasing the new album since Monday, when she posted the first of three videos of snakes to her newly-revamped social media accounts.

"I want to thank Judge William J. Martinez and the jury for their careful consideration, my attorneys Doug Baldridge, Danielle Foley, Jay Schaudies and Katie Wright for fighting for me and anyone who feels silenced by a sexual assault, and especially anyone who offered their support throughout this four-year ordeal and two-year long trial process," Swift said in a statement at the time. "I acknowledge the privilege that I benefit from in life, in society and in my ability to shoulder the enormous cost of defending myself in a trial like this. My hope is to help those whose voices should also be heard. Therefore, I will be making donations in the near future to multiple organizations that help sexual assault victims defend themselves."

"LOOK WHAT YOU MADE ME DO" LYRICS

Written by Taylor Swift, Jack Antonoff, Richard Fairbrass, Fred Fairbrass and Rob Manzoli

I don't like your little games Don't like your tilted stage The role you made me play Of the fool No, I don't like you

I don't like your perfect crime How you laugh when you lie You said the gun was mine Isn't cool No, I don't like you

Pre Chorus:

But I got smarter I got harder in the nick of time Honey, I rose up from the dead I do it all the time I got a list of names and yours is in red, underlined I check it once Then I check it twice

Chorus: Ooh Look what you made me do Look what you made me do Look what you just made me do Look what you just made me do Ooh Look what you made me do Look what you made me do Look what you just made me do Look what you just made me do

I don't like your kingdom keys They once belonged to me You asked me for a place to sleep Locked me out and threw a feast The world moves on Another day another drama, drama But not for me, Not for me All I think about is karma And then the world moves on But one thing's for sure Maybe I got mine But you'll all. get. yours.

Pre Chorus

Chorus

I don't trust nobody And nobody trusts me I'll be the actress Starring in your bad dreams. I don't trust nobody And nobody trusts me I'll be the actress Starring in your bad dreams. I don't trust nobody And nobody trusts me I'll be the actress Starring in your bad dreams. I don't trust nobody And nobody trusts me I'll be the actress Starring in your bad dreams. “I’m sorry, but the old Taylor can’t come to the phone right now… Why? Oh, ‘cause she’s dead.”

Chorus
