New Video by Late Singer Christina Grimmie Released
"The Voice" star was murdered in June.
— -- Christina Grimmie continues to live on through her music.
A new video from the late singer was released by her family Thursday. "Anybody's You" is the second video in Grimmie's four-video series, "The Ballad of Jessica Blue," featuring songs from her EP "Side A," which was released in February.
All four videos were also recorded in February. Following "The Voice" star's tragic death in June, they've become memorials to the late singer.
Explaining the story behind "The Ballad of Jessica Blue," Grimmie's manager Brian Teefy wrote on the singer's Twitter account, "Jessica is at a crossroads in her life. She becomes suspicious of her boyfriend and is gripped by insecurities only to realize that she is doing more damage to her own heart and future than any relationship ever could."
After Jessica is given words of wisdom by those closest to her, she "finds her path by doing what she loves," Teefy wrote. "She sings from her heart."
Grimmie, 22, was shot and killed at an Orlando concert venue while she was signing autographs and selling merchandise following a performance. The man who murdered her, 27-year-old Kevin Loibl, killed himself following a scuffle with Grimmie's brother Mark.
A few days later, the singer was laid to rest in her hometown of Medford, New Jersey.
"Christina was awesome," her brother said at a vigil for his sister. "She loved singing, she loved the Lord, and she loved me, and she was just my baby sister."
