-- "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" premiered in Hollywood last night, shutting down Hollywood Blvd. and bringing out a who's who of actors who couldn't wait to see the film.
However, what those walking the red carpet may not have known was how much work went into setting up the A-list event.
Since late last week, crews worked tirelessly to set up a blocks-long step and repeat -- and then broke it down in time for Tuesday morning traffic.
"Without spoiling it, I can say that #StarWarsForceAwakens has the BEST final shot of any Star Wars film. Wow," wrote comedian Patton Oswalt.
Added Fred Savage, "Amazing!Amazing!Amazing! In awe. It's all you want it to be. Old/new/funny/heartbreaking. Daisy Ridley is astonishing!"
