Trailer Released for 'Gilmore Girls' Revival Premiering This Fall on Netflix
The four-part series will premiere Nov. 25.
— -- This year, Thanksgiving Day binge eating can be followed by Gilmore Girls binge watching.
Netflix announced Wednesday that the highly anticipated revival series 'Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life' will be available Friday, Nov. 25. Even more exciting, the announcement of the date came via a trailer for the four-part series.
The short clip assures fans that although the new series is set a few years after the original, some things haven't changed: Rory and Lorelai will continue their mother-daughter discussions over coffee, Pop Tarts and the newspaper -- and the script will as always be littered with pop culture references.
But, it is 2016 now -- so the curiosity that drives the banter between the two can very easily be satisfied, thanks to Rory's iPhone.
'Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life' will take viewers through one year of the beloved mother-daughter duo's life over the course of four 90-minute episodes.
The original series concluded its seven-year run in 2007. After much speculation, Netflix announced in October 2015 that it would be bringing the show back.
