New Bachelorette Hannah on what she is looking for: 'Love is supposed to be fun'
"I'm super ready," she said. "And I think I'm even more ready than I was then."
Hannah Brown, who stole Bachelor Nation's heart with her humor and sass as she fought for Colton's affection, opened up about her search for love as the next Bachelorette, saying she is "even more ready than I was then."
"I'm the Bachelorette!" the former beauty queen exclaimed in an interview with "Good Morning America."
"At first I couldn't even say it out loud," she added. "It's so surreal."
The 24-year-old University of Alabama graduate-turned-interior designer hails from Tuscaloosa, Alabama, and holds the 2018 Miss Alabama USA title.
When asked what fans can expect as she searches for "the one" next season, Brown said she believes "love is supposed to be fun."
"So, I want fun, and I want adventures," she said.
Brown admitted that she doesn't know where in the world producers will be taking her, but said that she loves "surprises."
"We're definitely not going to be just shooting the bull," she added. "I want to have fun and go on some amazing adventures together."
Brown, who earned the nickname Hannah "Beast" during last season of "The Bachelor," promised that the "beast" will be back.
Brown has already met some of the men who will fight for her heart during "The Bachelor" finale on Tuesday.
"I handed out my first rose," she explained. "It went ... OK."
"It was my first time. It was live. You know we just roll with the punches and but it was really fun," Brown said.
"The guys were super great and it makes me really excited for my first night meeting all the men," she added.
Longtime "Bachelor" host Chris Harrison described Brown as "an absolute treasure."
"You saw up here how genuine she is, how easy it is to fall in love with her, so she's going to be good," he added.
When asked if she feels she is ready to find love, Brown answered "absolutely."
"I'm super ready," she said. "And I think I'm even more ready than I was then."
