Brian Austin Green defends sons' long hair after comments from online trolls

Brian Austin Green is one protective papa.

After recently sharing a photo of him and his three sons -- 7-year-old Noah, 6-year-old Bodhi and 4-year-old Journey -- on a "Target run," the actor noticed some trolls hating on his sons' long hair, prompting him to reply.

The "Beverly Hills, 90210" star said he believes "some people with different opinions are attacked because opinions usually start with the words 'I think' or something similar," using this idea to take a neutral stance.

"When people state opinions as facts is when arguments happen," Green said. "The fact is my boys have and like long hair. In my opinion they are beautiful and will still be and possibly be mistaken for girls if they wore matching short and T-shirt combos and had short hair."

"Some people like boys and men with long hair," he concluded. "Some people don't. Both opinions are OK."

Green shares sons Noah, Bodhi and Journey with estranged wife Megan Fox, who is now dating Machine Gun Kelly.

The recent "BH90210" star is also dad to son Kassius, 18, with ex Vanessa Marcil.
