What Is Job Kernl?

May 21, 2009 — -- The Job Kernl is a new digital tool from "Good Morning America" and Hyperion Books.

Each week the Job Kernl will concentrate on one career topic, tackling, for example, starting a Job Club, leveraging the benefits of social media, preparing for an interview and negotiating your salary. And much, much more!

There are three parts to the Job Kernl: Videos, Articles and Links — all three parts will provide important information and resources for you in your job hunt. To get going, start by watching the first video in the player. After the video is finished, take the poll — we want to know more about you, and what you're doing in your job search. Once you see the results of the poll, close that window and the next videos will automatically play for you.

Then, you can click on the tab that says Article, right below the video player. There you will get more detailed information on that week's topic. After you've read the article, click on the tab called Links, where we have compiled a list of more resources, videos, articles, and job listings.

You can also embed the Job Kernl on your blog, iGoogle, Facebook or MySpace page, or e-mail or Twitter it to your friends. Each week it will automatically update with fresh information to help you stay motivated and focused on your job search.
