Think Travel Tuesday for the year's best vacation deals

Black Friday and Cyber Monday are known for rock-bottom prices on everything from clothes to electronics, but if you're looking for deals on travel, your day is here.

Travel Tuesday, the day after Cyber Monday, is shaping up to be one of the best days of the year to book everything from airfare to beach vacations to educational tours of far-flung destinations.

Don't discount Black Friday and Cyber Monday completely though: Travel Tuesday is still a relatively new concept. That said, you'll have no trouble at all finding a deal on almost any trip your wanderlust desires.

When it comes to airfare, the prices are hitting rock bottom. Travel site Hopper analyzed 25 billion airfares and found that in 2018 more flights were discounted on Travel Deal Tuesday than Black Friday and Cyber Monday combined with savings up to 70 percent off.
