Master chef Wolfgang Puck will create the menu for the Governors Ball, the celebration that immediately follows the Academy Awards.

This will be the 17th time that the chef has been chosen by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences to do the menu at the event.

Wolfgang Puck Catering will serve the Academy's 1,500 ball guests, among whom will be nominees, presenters, winners and other participants from the televised event.

"Celebrating the past, present and future of the industry and the Academy, the Governors Ball is always an unforgettable experience," Puck said in a news release. "Our goal each year is to honor Hollywood's brightest stars and most accomplished artists with a culinary masterpiece. Only the finest ingredients and flavors will do."

The menu was created by Puck with partner chef Matt Bencivenga and executive pastry chef Sherry Yard.

The 83rd Annual Academy Awards will air Feb. 27 at 8 p.m. Eastern time on ABC.
