Nikolaj Costar-Waldau Says Jon Snow Is Dead in 'Game of Thrones' Season 6
The actor who plays Jaime Lannister talks about season 6 of "Game of Thrones."
— -- Nikolaj Costar-Waldau, who plays leading man Jaime Lannister in “Game of Thrones,” said today on “Good Morning America” that Jon Snow is indeed dead.
“Well he’s dead. It’s easy,” he told ABC News’ Amy Robach.
The highly anticipated premiere of season six airs Sunday on HBO, and fans have been eager to find out if Snow died at the conclusion of season five.
Costar-Waldau’s own character has undoubtedly been down on his luck lately too. He got captured, got his hand cut off and two of his children have died under his watch. But could things get any worse for Lannister this coming season?
“Well then of course he returns to King’s Landing with a corpse of their daughter, which is not a great thing to bring to a mother,” he said. “And then of course while he was gone everything changed in King’s Landing. There’s this religious uprising, the High Sparrow. He has to deal with all that. And it’s beyond complicated.”
