Legendary actress Cicely Tyson had a career that transcends the stage and screen, spanned decades and tore at emotions with each performance. Best known for her roles in "Sounder," "Roots," and "The Trip to Bountiful," receiving acclaim for all. She saw further accolades later in life for her role in "How to Get Away with Murder," alongside Viola Davis. Tyson was active until her death with her memoir "Just As I Am" released the same week of her passing.
