Aug. 29 -- Only two performers are left in Fox's "AmericanIdol" talent search show.

Wednesday's show revealed that viewers voted Nikki McKibbin out of the competition. That leaves Justin Guarini, 23, ofDoylestown, Pa., and Kelly Clarkson, 20, of Burleson, Texas, tocompete for the idol title.

The winner, who will receive a record contract, will be chosennext week and announced on the series' finale airing Sept. 4.
