Jan. 01, 2009 -- Question: What can I do if I do not have health insurance to pay for prostate cancer treatment?

Answer: If you did not have health insurance for prostate cancer management, that should not stop you from seeking care. Most large cities, and in particular at the local medical school or large university or city hospitals, provide free care -- particularly care that is important for your life. You would not want to stop seeking healthcare just for financial reasons. There are many avenues through the state, through the federal government and through the hospital to seek your cancer care.
