— -- A well-accessorized cat rode the subway in Moscow for an unusual Shakespeare celebration that took place inside the Russian capital's public transportation system.

The British Shorthair was invited on board a subway car as part of the Moscow Metro's celebration honoring the 400th anniversary of William Shakespeare's death.

The cat was dressed in dapper fashion, modeled after the cat painted with the English writer in a famous portrait.
