See Edward Snowden's Halloween Costume
Snowden tweeted a picture of he and his girlfriend dressed up.
— -- Facing charges of espionage and trying to negotiate a possible return to the U.S., national security whistleblower Edward Snowden proved Friday he isn’t above some Halloween fun.
Snowden’s girlfriend, Lindsay Mills, took to social media Friday to show off the duo’s chosen costumes: Snowden dressed as Waldo (from the children’s book “Where’s Waldo?”) and Mills as Carmen Sandiego.
The photo caption said the pair was “world hide and seek champions 2013” (Snowden fled overseas in 2013 after leaking classified information from the National Security Agency).
As Snowden remains in Russia under asylum, the FBI headquarters in the background of the Halloween photo was presumably edited in.
Snowden retweeted the photo to his more than 1.5 million followers.
