Syria holds an election, but that's the last thing on the minds of refugees.

June 3, 2014— -- Polls opened today in Syria, where President Bashar al-Assad is expected to handily win re-election as president of the country torn apart by civil war.

But across the border in Lebanon, the election is the last thing on the minds of Syrians struggling to survive in refugee camps made up of tents and makeshift housing.

While rebel-held areas boycotted the election in Syria, pro-Assad voters pricked their fingers to show allegiance.
