'Dozens' of casualties in Israel after truck crashes into bus stop
Israel's Magen David Adom emergency service reported "dozens" of casualties early Sunday after a truck crashed into a bus stop in the northern suburbs of Tel Aviv.
The MDA confirmed at least 33 people were injured, including six seriously.
The Israel Police Spokesperson's Unit said that a "significant deployment of police units" was dispatched to the scene to respond to what it called a "suspected terror attack."
A "preliminary investigation indicates that a bus stopped near a bus stop to drop off passengers," police said. "At the same time, a truck arrived and collided with the bus and passengers at the station."
The driver of the vehicle was "neutralized" by armed bystanders, police added.
