— -- North Korea released 310 new propaganda slogans today -- calling for a range of improvements in the isolated country, including providing more food to children and infrastructure.

The slogans spanned two pages of the party's broadsheet newspaper, Reuters reported.

The North Korean government -- accused of human rights violations by other nations -- experienced severe famine in the 1990s while those who have fled the country have shared stories of impoverishment.
