Two Professors at the American University of Afghanistan Abducted

One of the victims is American, and the other is Australian.

— -- Two professors at the American University of Afghanistan in Kabul, one American and one Australian, have been abducted at gun point, a source at the university said.

Kabul police chief Abdel Rahman Rahimi confirmed the kidnapping.

A spokesperson for the Australia’s Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade said that that the Australian Embassy in Afghanistan was "seeking to verify reports of the kidnapping of an Australian in Kabul."
