— -- People fishing at a coastal lake in Australia were stunned to see a great white shark swimming in the water.

The shark was spotted at Murrays Beach in Lake Macquarie, in southeastern Australia, according to the Newcastle Herald. Its fin could be seen slicing through the water.

Clinton Bambach captured video of the juvenile shark – thought to be about 8 feet long – swimming in the water. “That’s a great white! Yeah!” Bambach said as he watched the shark, which can grow to be 21 feet.

Officials placed signs along the shoreline to warn potential swimmers.
