— -- Crikey! A kangaroo wiped out a cyclist on an Australian road, and the incident was all caught on a GoPro camera strapped to her bike.

The video reportedly shows Bronwyn Calver biking home from work on Adelaide Avenue near Capital Circle in Canberra, Australia, when a kangaroo suddenly hops from the roadside into the path of her bike.

"I saw this kangaroo about to hit my front wheel," Calver told the Canberra Times. "I tried to brake and swerve, but he just collected the wheel and I got thrown off over the side."

Calver can be seen laying injured on the side of the road at the end of the video, with passersby stopping to help her. Her injuries included a gash to her knee that required stitches, the Canberra Times reported.

"I escaped relatively unscathed with no broken bones but a severely grazed and bruised elbow, grazed hip and 8 stitches in my knee," reads the description under the YouTube video, uploaded under the alias "originalallrounder."

The kangaroo seemed disoriented after the collision and later was hit by a car and killed, according to the Canberra Times.
