— -- The quirky "house that spite built" is up for sale -- again.

A 2-bedroom, 1.75-bathroom house in Seattle that was listed on Zillow earlier this week may be small in size, but it has a big historical impact in the city.

The skinny wedge-shaped house was built in 1925 and lies directly in between two normal-sized homes.

The property is nicknamed the "Spite House" by locals because of various rumors that the house was built to explicitly aggravate someone.

One rumor claims that the house was built by an angry ex-wife after she was only given the yard in her divorce settlement, while her ex-husband was given the entire house they'd shared. However, no one is really certain how the "Spite House" came to be.

The tiny house is built in the shape of a scalene triangle, or a thin slice of pie.

One end of the house is 15 feet wide, while the narrowest end is just 55 inches wide. In total, the house holds 860 square feet of living space, and in some spaces of the house you can touch both walls when you stretch out your hands.

The house was last bought in May of 2014 for $375,000. Its current listing price is $519,900.
