— -- Super Bowl 50 is quickly approaching and football fans who are planning to travel to California for the game can still get a deal on hotel rooms.

TripAdvisor released its list of the Top 10 locations in the San Francisco Bay area to save on hotels during Super Bowl weekend (Feb. 6-7).

The city of Santa Clara, California, is the host of Super Bowl 50.

According to TripAdvisor, hotels located near Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, California, cost $380 per night on average. Hotels within 10 miles of the arena are tripling their rates that weekend.

Average nightly rates for hotels located 0-10 miles from the stadium are $562, while average rates for hotels that are 11-25 miles away are $423, according to TripAdvisor. Average rates for hotels that are 26-30 miles away from the stadium are $345.

TripAdvisor insists that "reasonably-priced" hotels are still available to book in the Bay Area.

“Bargain-hunting travelers can save up to 50 percent if they are willing to hike more than 20 miles from the stadium in spots such as Oakland or San Bruno compared to closer destinations like San Jose or Mountain View,” said Brooke Ferencsik, director of communications for TripAdvisor.
