Woman Turns Herself Into Any Celeb Using Only Makeup
She can be anyone from Sofía Vergara to Donald Trump.
— -- Most of us are trying to look a little more like our favorite celebrity.
One talented makeup artist can transform herself into a multitude of celebs with makeup alone.
Rebecca Swift was always interested in makeup, she told ABC News, but only got serious about it when she participated in Omaha Fashion Week several years ago. She then went to school for esthetics and makeup artistry at the Stewart School in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.
Swift is 48 days into the 100-Day Challenge -- a social media challenge to showcase the work of makeup artists.
"I've seen several makeup artists that I really respect doing the challenge on Instagram, and I thought I'd give it a try myself. You don't realize when you start that it's a huge commitment," Swift said.
And though she started out doing it "just for fun," Swift said she's learning as she goes.
"Trying to become Jack Nicholson at 10 p.m. in a hotel room while on a weekend getaway with family was insane. My dad came around the corner to see me sitting on the bathroom floor painted up like a madman. My face was pressed against the bathroom door and I had a lamp between my legs for lighting."
Each look takes varying amounts of time. "The George Clooney look took about 20 minutes because I only had to slick back my hair and contour my face."
"I actually only began to tackle celeb faces because I momentarily ran out of wigs -- that's why you'll notice a sudden stream of brunette celebrities throughout my feed. Donald Trump's look took a little over an hour -- getting his hair just right was a major factor in the overall success of the look."
