The book will touch on a variety of topics including gender equality, a subject Justice Ginsburg has advocated for throughout her legal career. Each section of the book will include an introduction by Ginsburg's authorized biographers, Georgetown adjunct professor Mary Hartnett and professor Emerita Wendy W. Williams, according to a press release from Simon & Schuster. Those introductions will include limited quotes from interviews with the justice that Hartnett and Williams have conducted as part of their biography of Ginsburg that will be published on an unannounced future date.
Justice Ginsburg, 82, has gained fame outside of legal circles and entered the pop culture vernacular as "Notorious RBG," the name of a fan blog and a book by the same name written by the blog's creator, Shana Knizhnik and MSNBC reporter Irin Carmon.
