Lillian Bassman: A Visionary in the World of Fashion

Photographer Lillian Bassman is a seminal figure in the history of fashion photography. Her images appeared on the pages of Harper’s Bazaar from the 1940s to the 1960s. Edwynn Houk Gallery presents its first exhibition of the artist’s photographs. On view until July 8, the show will feature photographs tracing the legendary fashion photographer’s stylistic development from early vintage prints to her reinterpreted prints made in the 1990s.
