Rap mogul Jay-Z and wife Beyoncé, vocal Obama supporters, are expected to hold the next round of celebrity-hosted fundraisers for the re-election campaign of President Obama. The event will take place in Manhattan Sept. 18 and is expected to draw about 100 attendees, each paying about $40,000.

Actor Will Ferrell has shelled out $35,800 to the Obama Victory Fund and $30,800 to the Democratic National Committee, according to Federal Election Committee reports. Ferrell also co-hosted a $35,800-per-ticket fundraiser for Obama in February. Producer and actor Tyler Perry has not only donated big to Obama, but has helped make sure all of his wealthy friends have too. He has bundled more than $500,000 for Obama Victory Fund.
