--POLL: CLINTON AND TRUMP EVEN UP; TURNOUT LOOKS TO BE CRITICAL: A slim point separates Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump in the latest ABC News/Washington Post tracking poll, cementing Trump's resurgence in the past week and marking the potentially critical role of turnout in the election’s outcome. ABC’s GARY LANGER has more. http://abcn.ws/2eIKl7g

--KAINE CALLS FBI DIRECTOR’S ACTIONS ON EMAIL REVIEW ‘EXTREMELY PUZZLING’: Democratic vice presidential nominee Tim Kaine called the FBI director's announcement 11 days before the election of a review of new emails in the Hillary Clinton email investigation "extremely puzzling" and a "distraction." In an interview with ABC News' George Stephanopoulos, Kaine said FBI Director James Comey's announcement of the review was a breach of Justice Department protocol. Comey sent a letter to congressional leaders on Friday announcing that newly-discovered emails were being reviewed in connection with the investigation of Clinton's use of a private email server as secretary of state, ABC’s JESSICA HOPPER reports. The emails were found during a separate investigation of former Congressman Anthony Weiner, the estranged husband of Huma Abedin, a longtime Clinton adviser. http://abcn.ws/2ftccJV

--TRUMP CAMPAIGN MANAGER SAYS FBI REVIEW PLAYS INTO VOTER RELUCTANCE ABOUT CLINTON: Trump campaign manager Kellyanne Conway says the FBI's review of newly-found messages in connection to its investigation of Hillary Clinton's use of a private email server could make a difference on Election Day. "I think for the voters at this stage, this plays right into their reluctance about Hillary Clinton," Kellyanne Conway told ABC's George Stephanopoulos on "This Week." She added: "There is political currency attached to this." ABC’s NICKI ROSSOLL has more. http://abcn.ws/2eWIImW

--COMEY BEGINS BRIEFING CONGRESSIONAL LEADERS ON EMAIL REVIEW: FBI Director James Comey has reached out to top Republicans and Democrats in Congress to brief them on the agency's review of newly-discovered emails in connection to the investigation of Hillary Clinton's private email server, congressional sources tell ABC News. Comey spoke yesterday about with House Judiciary Committee Chairman Bob Goodlatte, a Republican of Virginia, and the panel's ranking Democrat, John Conyers of Michigan, ABC’s BEN SIEGEL reports. Others leaders in Congress, including House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi and the House Intelligence Committee's top Democrat, Adam Schiff, of California, have requested briefings. http://abcn.ws/2eo9ktD

YESTERDAY ON THE TRAIL

--CLINTON SLAMS FBI’S MANNER OF ANNOUNCING EMAIL REVIEW: Hillary Clinton at a rally in Florida on Saturday afternoon slammed the manner of the FBI director's announcement of a review of new emails as 'unprecedented’ and ‘deeply troubling.’ "Now, I'm sure that some of you may have heard about a letter that the FBI director sent out yesterday," she told the crowd of about 900. "Well, if you're like me, you probably have a few questions about it," she said. "It's pretty strange to put something like that out with such little information right before an election," she continued, referring to Friday's announcement coming 11 days before Election Day, ABC’s LIZ KREUTZ reports. "In fact, it's not just strange, it's unprecedented and it is deeply troubling because voters deserve to get full and complete facts." Clinton also doubled down on her campaign's call for FBI Director James Comey to release more details on what is in the emails that are now under review. http://abcn.ws/2eZ4XXe

--TRUMP SAYS CLINTON HAS NOBODY TO BLAME BUT HERSELF: Donald Trump said Saturday Hillary Clinton has "nobody to blame but herself" for the ongoing issue of how she handled emails when she was secretary of state, calling her actions "willful," ABC’s CANDACE SMITH reports. At a rally in Golden, Colorado, Trump seemed to gloat following the revelation that the FBI is again reviewing emails related to Clinton's personal server, after possibly pertinent communications were found on devices used by a top Clinton aide, Huma Abedin. http://abcn.ws/2dYTTXH

--BIDEN: TRUMP HAS MADE PRESIDENTIAL CAMPAIGN SO CRUDE: Vice President Biden made no mention of the ongoing email controversy dogging the Hillary Clinton campaign during rally in Las Vegas, Nevada, instead keeping his sights set on painting Donald Trump from every angle as "unfit for the presidency,” ABC’s ALEXANDER MALLIN reports. “He has made the campaign so crude," Biden said, before referring to the leaked "Access Hollywood" tape of Trump bragging about groping women. http://abcn.ws/2eZ5JUe
