— -- What's President Obama been up to on his summer vacation in Martha's Vineyard?

We now know that, for one thing, he's been jamming out to some of his favorite songs of the summer. Midway through the president's two-week-long August vacation, the White House has revealed two Spotify playlists featuring the tunes that are topping President Obama's summer music chart as he kicks back with his family.

The playlists, which are compilations of songs hand-picked by Obama himself and titled "The President's Summer Playlist: Day," and another one for "Night" are eclectic collections of modern hits and tried-and-true classics.

Topping the evening list, John Coltrane's "My Favorite Things," followed up by Beyonce and Frank Ocean's "Superpower."

On his daytime playlist, The Temptations "Ain't Too Proud to Beg" is listed first, followed by "Live It Up" by the Isley Brothers and Coldplay's "Paradise." Justin Timberlake's "Pusher Love Girl" and John Legend's "Green Light" also made the list.

The presidential picks also feature an artist that Obama has been known to sing along to: Al Green. This summer's playlist includes Green's "How Can You Mend a Broken Heart." Van Morrison's "Moondance," The Lumineer's "Stubborn Love," and Ray Charles "You Don't Know Me" also make the list.

In a statement, the White House said this was just the beginning of its sharing music with the world. "You can expect to see the White House share playlists created by people in the White House, as well as playlists curated around events and issues to engage the public."
