Season-to-Date, ‘GMA’ Is Ranking No. 1 in Total Viewers for the 4th-Straight Season

ABC News’ “Good Morning America” ranked as the No. 1 morning newscast in Total Viewers (4.120 million) for the week of July 18, 2016, based on Live + Same Day Data from Nielsen Media Research. “GMA” outdelivered NBC’s “Today” (3.963 million) by 157,000, increasing its lead from the previous week by +71% (vs. +92,000 for w/o 7/11/16).

Season to date, “GMA” stands as the No. 1 morning newscast in Total Viewers, beating “Today” by 220,000 (4.836 million vs. 4.616 million), taking the top spot at this point of the season for the 4th consecutive year.

During the week, “GMA” outperformed “CBS This Morning” in Total Viewers (+25%/+823,000), Adults 25-54 (+42%/+384,000) and Adults 18-49 (+45%/+281,000).
