“GMA” is #1 for the Week

— -- ABC News’ “Good Morning America” stood as the No. 1 morning newscast in Total Viewers (5.083 million) for the week of April 20, 2015, based on Live +Same Day Data from Nielsen Media Research. “GMA” led NBC’s “Today” (4.809 million) by 274,000 Total Viewers.

Season to date, “GMA” is the No. 1 morning newscast in Total Viewers and Adults 25-54. “GMA” is leading “Today” by 598,000 Total Viewers and by 140,000 Adults 25-54. In fact, “GMA” has increased its season margin over “Today” versus the same point last season in Adults 25-54 (+37% - 140,000 vs. 102,000).

Furthermore, ranking No. 1 for the 3rd-straight season in Total Viewers and Adults 25-54, “GMA” is seeing its widest Adults 25-54 margin over “Today” in 23 years –since the 1991-92 season.

During the week, “GMA” led “CBS This Morning” in Total Viewers (+36%), Adults 25-54 (+67%) and Adults 18-49 (+64%).
