“This Week" Ranks #1 in Adults 25-54

“This Week” Improves Year-to-Year in Adults 25-54 for 6th Consecutive Week

Season to Date, “This Week” is Delivering its Strongest News Demo Performance in 6 years

ABC News’ “This Week with George Stephanopoulos” ranked as the No. 1 public affairs program in Adults 25-54 (851,000) for the 2nd week in a row on June 7, 2015, based on Live +Same Day Data from Nielsen Media Research. “This Week” beat CBS’ “Face the Nation” (+54,000) and Fox’s “Fox News Sunday” (+562,000) to lead among the public affairs program for the 4th time in its last 5 telecasts.

For the 6th consecutive week, “This Week” improved on its year-to-year performance in Adults 25-54 (+4% - 851,000 vs. 815,000 for 6/8/14).

Season to date, “This Week” is up in Adults 25-54 (+4% - 875,000 vs. 845,000) versus its year-ago season average. Growing its Adults 25-54 performance for the 3rd year in a row, “This Week” is delivering its strongest news demo performance in 6 years – since the 2008-09 season. In fact, “This Week” is the only program to grow in Adults 25-54, compared to CBS’ “Face the Nation” (-1%), NBC’s “Meet the Press” (-2%) and Fox’s “Fox News Sunday” (-2%) are all down.

In addition, “This Week” is outdelivering NBC’s “Meet the Press” in Total Viewers (+16,000) and Adults 25-54 (+62,000) for the 2nd straight year, seeing its largest news demo lead in 21 years – since the 1993-94 season.
