Aussie Tim Cahill Scores Incredible Goal Against Dominating Dutch

— -- Australia's Tim Cahill scored a stunning goal today against the Netherlands.

Cahill, who plays for the New York Red Bulls, surprised the Dutch team when he took a 42 yard pass and blasted it into the net.

The ball never touched the ground. Cahill made it look effortless as he knocked the ball with his left boot toward the goal. It bounced off the underside of the top bar and into the goal, prompting fans of the Aussie team, who are called "Socceroos," to go wild.

The incredible moment came only one minute after midfielder Arjen Robben scored for the Netherlands.

On social media, fans have named Cahill's goal as one of the best of the tournament.
