— -- A host of star players went down with injuries this week. Here are the most significant names who got banged up.

Joe Flacco, QB, Baltimore RavensCoach John Harbaugh told reporters after the Ravens' 16-13 win that Flacco had suffered a season-ending knee injury (torn ACL and MCL). The injury occurred on the first play of Baltimore's final drive of the day, when left tackle James Hurst rolled up on him. Flacco -- who had started 122 straight games in his career, the fifth-longest streak in NFL history -- stayed in for the remainder of the drive, which resulted in a game-winning field goal. The Ravens' backup, Matt Schaub, has not started an NFL game since Week 16 of 2013.

Devonta Freeman, RB, Atlanta Falcons: Freeman left the game with 9:20 left in the first quarter after a vicious helmet-to-helmet collision with Colts safety Clayton Geathers. He had gotten off to a hot start against Indy, with 43 rushing yards on three carries. Entering this week, Freeman was averaging 126.8 total yards per game, tops among running backs.

Darrelle Revis, CB, New York JetsWith 4:50 left in the third quarter, Revis left the game with a head injury after trying to tackle Texans RB Akeem Hunt. The veteran CB was taken to the locker room for further evaluation and did not return to the field. The Jets lost 24-17. Revis had been burned by Houston WR DeAndre Hopkins for a 61-yard touchdown earlier in the game.

Patrick Peterson, CB, Arizona CardinalsPeterson again showed he's back to being one of the game's true shutdown cornerbacks on Sunday night against A.J. Green. The LSU product held Green in check when matched up one-on-one before leaving the game with a left ankle injury late in the fourth quarter. He did not return to the field for the remainder of the game, and the Bengals scored 10 unanswered with him on the bench to tie the game late, before the Cardinals made a game-winning field goal with one second left.

Justin Forsett, RB, Baltimore Ravens: Forsett broke his right arm in first quarter after getting slammed to the ground by Rams defensive tackle Aaron Donald. Forsett was the league's 10th-ranked rusher, with 615 yards entering this week.

Charcandrick West, RB, Kansas City Chiefs: West left in the third quarter with a hamstring injury. The breakout running back has been the Chiefs' bell cow since Jamaal Charles tore his ACL in Week 5. West had compiled 64 total yards on 13 touches vs. the Chargers and didn't return to the game, snapping his three-game streak of gaining at least 100 total yards and scoring 1 TD.

Teddy Bridgewater, QB, Minnesota VikingsBridgewater exited the game late in the second quarter after getting sacked by Packers OLB Julius Peppers. The QB was taken to the locker room with a shoulder injury, but returned to the field right before halftime. Bridgewater started the game 9 of 10 for 104 yards and a touchdown.

Vontae Davis, CB, Indianapolis Colts: Indy's shutdown CB suffered a hamstring injury at the beginning of the fourth quarter and, shortly thereafter, the team deemed him doubtful to return. Davis entered this week with two interceptions in his previous three games.

Trent Williams, T, Washington RedskinsWith the Redskins down 30 points midway through the fourth quarter, Washington's left tackle remained in the game and suffered a knee injury on a fourth-down try. The Redskins converted a first down, but Williams was carted off to the locker room and did not return. Coach Jay Gruden said after the game that Williams has a knee cap contusion, adding that he was unsure of the recovery time for the injury.

Zach Ertz, TE, Philadelphia Eagles: Early in the second quarter, Ertz tried to jump over Buccaneers CB Sterling Moore, but the TE was upended and landed on his head/neck. He left the game with a concussion and did not return.
