— -- A host of star players went down with injuries this week. Here are the most significant names who got banged up:

Andy Dalton, QB, Cincinnati Bengals: Dalton went to the locker room with a right thumb injury (throwing hand) in the first quarter against the Pittsburgh Steelers. It happened after he tried to make a tackle following an interception. It didn't take long for the Bengals to rule him out, and coach Marvin Lewis announced after the game that Dalton would miss at least next week's contest vs. San Francisco.
