— -- BOSTON -- The Boston Celtics on Tuesday waived forward Qyntel Woods, whom they acquired in the five-team trade in August that sent Antoine Walker to the Miami Heat. Woods had spent most of his career with the Portland Trail Blazers, who picked him in the first round of the 2002 draft. The Trail Blazers placed him on waivers last season after he pleaded guilty to animal abuse. Woods had previously been in trouble for drug possession. Woods signed with the Heat in January, but appeared in just three games. ^
