How Ha Na Jang Uses A Little Disney Magic To Learn English

— -- Starting the 2015 season, Ha Na Jang was not only a rookie on the LPGA Tour, she was also new to the United States. What would be the fastest and, more importantly, funnest way to learn English?

The 23-year-old South Korean, who has been described as "bubbly," had the answer: animated Disney movies. You're going to have to do interviews with the American press at some point if you play well, and using a translator gets really old, really fast. Anyone can get a translation book or download an app to learn the language if you have some time. But for Jang, both of those options paled in comparison to watching movies.

I can't lie: If I have to learn a new language quickly and one of my options is to watch Disney movies, I'll get the popcorn started now.

Jang turned pro in 2010 and played on the KLPGA from 2010 to '14, winning six times. In 2013, she won that tour's player of the year award.

Making it through LPGA qualifying school late in 2014, Jang finished her 2015 rookie campaign with eight top-10s, $883,032 in earnings and the No. 13 spot in the Rolex Rankings.

If you go to an LPGA Tour event in 2016 and you happen upon a smiling young woman singing "Hakuna Matata" on the golf course, you've found Jang. Someday, a Disney movie might just be made about her.
