NBA MVP  Giannis Antetokounmpo's social media accounts were hacked Thursday afternoon, prompting an investigation by the Milwaukee Bucks.

A series of expletive tweets were posted from Antetokounmpo's Twitter account; his agent, Alex Saratsis, told ESPN that Antetokounmpo was not responsible for them. The tweets have since been removed.

Once things were seemingly under control, Antetokounmpo's longtime girlfriend, Mariah Riddlesprigger, and his younger brother Kostas, of the Los Angeles Lakers, both tweeted on his behalf.

"Giannis' twitter, phone, email and bank accounts were hacked!" both Kostas and Riddlesprigger tweeted. "He genuinely apologizes for everything that was tweeted and he will be back as soon as possible! The things that were said by this hacker were extremely inappropriate and disgusting!"
