Japan wins international title at LLWS; will face U.S. championship winner in final

— -- Japan won the international championship at the Little League World Series, finishing an unbeaten run with a 5-0 victory over Mexico.

Japan, which has won four of the past seven Little League World Series titles, has outscored opponents 27-1 in this year's tournament. On Sunday, the Tokyo team will face the winner of the U.S. championship between Greenville, North Carolina, and Lufkin, Texas.

Saturday's win marked the ninth shutout of this year's Little League World Series. Japan and Mexico have combined for six of them.

Japan has won 10 Little League World Series titles overall.
