Jerian Grant has this to say to the haters of the women's game

— -- You'd have to circle the Earth a time or two to find a human who has breathed more basketball than Knicks point guard Jerian Grant. Considering his dad, uncle and brothers all played professionally, it's safe to say Jerian can recognize good basketball when he sees it.

So when he takes on the haters of the women's game and their "ignorant stereotypes," like he did Tuesday morning on The Players' Tribune, you probably should hear him out.

"The stereotypes, the put-downs, the jokes. We've all heard them," the former Notre Dame star writes. "Simply put, it's good basketball. It's the same game I love."

If that isn't enough to convince you, the H-O-R-S-E showdown with former Irish superstar and current Seattle Storm player Jewell Loyd -- complete with at least one of them making a half-court shot -- should do the trick.

Safe to say that Grant's essay left more than a few women's players, including Irish senior Michaela Mabrey, applauding his effort.

Allow us to second the sentiment.
