— -- LAKE BUENA VISTA, Fla. -- One day after Florida State flipped No. 20-ranked Dalvin Cook (Miami/Central), the Seminoles struck again, picking up a commitment from No. 27 Lorenzo Featherston (Greensboro, N.C./Page).

The 6-foot-7, 220-pound defensive end officially visited Florida, Florida State and Clemson before deciding to go with coach Jimbo Fisher's squad. The Seminoles now have 28 commitments in the 2014 class, including 11 ESPN 300 pledges and 14 four-star prospects.

Featherston joins a defensive haul that also includes a trio of ESPN 300 linebackers: No. 35 Kain Daub (Jacksonville, Fla./Sandalwood), No. 109 Jacob Pugh (Tallahassee, Fla./Godby) and No. 113 Delvin Purifoy (Pensacola, Fla./Pensacola Catholic).

Featherston is injured and unable to play in the 2014 Under Armour All-America Game but is now one of five Florida State commitments on the rosters for the exhibition, which kicks off Thursday at 4 p.m. ET on ESPN. He is joined by Cook, Daub, Pugh and defensive tackle Dexter Wideman (Saluda, S.C./Saluda).

The Seminoles are No. 6 in the ESPN class rankings.
