— -- Viewers of Friday night's Philadelphia Phillies- Milwaukee Brewers game are being greeted to an aesthetic treat with the teams donning these throwback uniforms at Citizens Bank Park.

The first thing that jumps out here is the Phillies' pillbox cap, a style made iconic by the Pittsburgh Pirates. Philadelphia wore the hats during the 1976 season.

Secondly, the Brewers' uniforms look very sharp despite the fact that the beloved glove logo is conspicuously missing. Reason being, Milwaukee's throwbacks for Friday predate the logo's introduction in 1978.

Interestingly enough, ESPN uniform guru Paul Lukas doesn't even rank either of these as the team's best throwback unis.
