The Detroit Pistons are finalizing a trade to send guard Alec Burks to the New York Knicks, sources told ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski on Thursday.

The Knicks are sending Quentin Grimes and two future second-round picks to the Pistons in the Burks deal, sources told Wojnarowski.

A veteran bench scorer, Burks is averaging 12.3 points this season while shooting just under 40% from 3 on nearly six attempts per game. He's a prolific shooter who has made at least five 3-pointers in five different games this season, second-most for a player coming off the bench.

Burks has been with the Pistons for the last two years and has played for six different teams since leaving the Utah Jazz in 2018. He's making $10.5 million this season and will hit free agency this summer.
