— -- (adds quotes) WELLINGTON, Dec 9 - Uncapped pace bowler Mitchell Johnson has been named in Australia's 12-man squad for their final match against New Zealand in the Chappell-Hadlee Trophy one-day series in Christchurch on Saturday. Johnson, who was a late addition to the squad after fast bowler Brett Lee returned home after the second match on Wednesday to have a breathing problem rectified, was named as the super-sub for Australia. "Hopefully we'll be able to give him a bowl," Australia captain Ricky Ponting said in Christchurch of the left-armer, who arrived early on Friday after a delayed flight from Brisbane. "The way that New Zealand has looked like they've wanted to play their cricket the last few games is to bowl first. "If that's the case, then Mitchell will probably play a pretty big role in the game." All rounder Cameron White and pace bowler Mick Lewis have been named in the starting 11 for the first time after making appearances as the super-subs in previous matches. All rounder Brad Hogg, who returned to the side after having knee surgery, missed out all together. Ponting said his side were lucky to have already wrapped up the series after they won the match in Wellington by two runs. Andrew Symonds smashed 156 in Australia's mammoth 322 for five, only for New Zealand to be bowled out for 320 in the final over while seemingly in the box seat with six runs required from the last over. However two run outs, one of Brendon McCullum by Michael Clarke, proved vital in the final five deliveries. "They did everything right, there wasn't much more they could have done differently," Ponting said of New Zealand's run chase. "Michael Clarke's bit of fielding was the difference in the game, there's no doubt about that. "If he misses the stumps there, I'm probably forced to bring the whole field up the next few balls and if one goes through it's game over." Australia: Ricky Ponting (captain), Adam Gilchrist, Nathan Bracken, Stuart Clark, Michael Clarke, Brad Hodge, Mike Hussey, Simon Katich, Mick Lewis, Andrew Symonds, Cameron White, Mitchell Johnson (12th man/super-sub).
