SAN FRANCISCO -- Golden State Warriors guard Stephen Curry left Saturday's 119-113 victory over the Dallas Mavericks near the end of the third quarter after suffering an apparent left knee injury.

Curry sustained the injury with 2:01 left in the quarter when his left knee collided with the right knee of Dallas' McKinley Wright while Curry was defending him.

X-rays were negative, the team said, but Curry did not return. He will undergo an MRI next.

The star guard finished with 21 points on 7-of-11 shooting and seven assists.

Two nights prior, Curry banged the same knee in the second half of Golden State's game against the Denver Nuggets.

Earlier this season, Curry missed 11 games due to a left shoulder subluxation. During that time, the Warriors went 6-5.
