— -- LOGAN, Utah -- Utah State has suspended two members of the men's basketball team for an undisclosed violation of team rules, and Coach Stew Morrill said the two may be dismissed. Suspended indefinitely were Jason Williams and Marques Crane, Morrill said in a prepared statement Sunday. Utah State spokesman Doug Hoffman said Sunday that he did not know a time frame or the process that would determine whether the suspensions become dismissals. A message left by The Associated Press with the school Sunday was not immediately returned. Williams, a senior forward from Vallejo, Calif., started 27 of 29 games for Utah State last year and averaged 6.7 points and 2.2 rebounds per game. Crane, a transfer from Saddleback Junior College in Mission Viejo, Calif., sat out last season after earning Orange Empire Conference Most Valuable Player honors as a sophomore during the 2002-03 season.
