Nov. 3, 2010— -- Anti-virus firm Sophos is now offering its Mac security software for free to consumers. It protects users from Mac and Windows-specific attacks, including viruses and spyware. Apple's growing market share has made its Mac computers a bigger target for hackers.

High school students around the country will be taking the SAT this weekend. Those who have trouble studying the traditional way can now go online to prepare. Grockit is a web-based test-prep program for the major standardized exams. The Wall Street Journal's Katie Boehret tested it out.

"Grockit has developed a more entertaining and addictive way for kids to get interested in studying for tests," Boehret said. "For the most part, I really enjoyed using this website. I dove right in like a kid would." She adds that "there are several different ways to use the program. And it actually seemed very organized to me."

There's a free portion of the site and a premium paid part with a $100 subscription
