Nov. 24, 2009— -- A malicious worm is targeting iPhone users who remove Apple's protection in order to allow their phones to run any software. The worm gives intruders the ability to spread spam, steal data and hijack online accounts. iPhone owners who have not changed their original settings, however, have nothing to worry about.

AT&T has launched a pre-paid wireless broadband service competing with its rival Verizon Wireless. The service allows users to connect their laptops to the Internet using AT&T's 3-G network. It costs $15 for a daily pass and $30 for a weekly plan.

Nintendo is releasing a pair of limited-edition DSi hand-held gaming consoles Black Friday. Each bundle will come with pre-installed games, one with a Mario theme and the other featuring brain teasers. The bundles will cost $170; the same price as the standard DSi.

If you've ever wanted to skateboard but were afraid you'd break your ankle, now you can give it a shot in the comfort of your own living room. "Tony Hawk Ride" is a new video game that comes with a skateboard controller. Libby Goad of Game Daily said it's almost as hard as riding an actual skateboard.

"Just think of this as kind of a skateboarding game for the 'Guitar Hero' set," Goad said. "It's a really clever idea but, unfortunately, the board, while a really solid piece of hardware, doesn't really seem to interact well with the game."

Another problem she has with the game is the lack of clarity and direction. "You just feel kind of lost half the time. ... It is kind of a sloppy execution. You can't help [but] feel that all the developers really got wrapped up in making a really amazing-looking board but not really working on the game itself."

The game and board cost $120 and are available for the PS3, Xbox 360 and Nintendo Wii.
